Virgo Funerals was established in 1939 to provide the South Burnett with
a dignified, professional funeral service.
We cover
all parts of the South Burnett -
Blackbutt,
Yarraman,
Nanango,
Kingaroy,
Wondai,
Proston,
Murgon and
Goomeri - and our decades of experience
have made us very familiar with the needs of our customers.
In December 2009 - after four years of planning and development
- we opened our new South Burnett Crematorium at 24 Pioneer Avenue
in Kingaroy opposite Taabinga Cemetery and relocated Virgo Funerals there.
This South Burnett Crematorium is the only accredited facility of
its kind in the South Burnett. It incorporates a state-of-the-art crematorium;
a spacious, modern chapel equipped with a full audio-visual system; private
viewing rooms; display areas and modern offices - all in tastefully landscaped
grounds.
We're very proud that our company has been able to bring this much needed
facility to the South Burnett.
